Terms and Conditions for Photography Services

Frequently asked questions  

*By making a booking and submitting the deposit,

The Client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
 

The Booking Deposit:
To secure your session date and time, a non-refundable booking deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the package and services you're booking.
This deposit is an important part of your final payment. If you need to cancel your session, you can use the deposit to reschedule another session within 3 months from the cancellation date, provided the cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance. However, cancellations within 48 hours of the session or on the day of the appointment will result in the loss of the deposit and any upfront payments. The non-refundable deposit compensates the Photographer for their time and administrative efforts involved in booking and preparing for the session.

The deposit and upfront payments are refundable only if the Photographer cancels the session and a new date cannot be arranged. In such cases, every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative. 
The remaining sum for the photography services is payable the day before or on the day of the photoshoot. 

 

Unretouched, RAW Images, Additional Images:

Please note that raw images are not provided by the photographer and are not included in any photography package. In all photography packages, only retouched images are included, as these represent the final, refined photos that best showcase the photographer’s skill and vision. Raw images are like a first draft - they capture the moment but need careful editing to reach their full potential. By providing only the retouched photos, I ensure you receive beautifully finished images that you can truly treasure. If you find that the number of retouched images included in your package is not enough and you would like to have more - you have the option to purchase additional retouched images at a rate of £15 per image.

 

Traveling to your chosen location/home:
I'm more than happy to travel to chosen location or your home if you prefer the photoshoot outside the studio. Please be aware that additional charges will apply to cover travel time and expenses. 
The approximate amount travelling in East London and Greater/Central London area - £35 
Wet London, South London, North London £45 
Outside London - from £55 

Session Punctuality:

We value punctuality to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. If you happen to arrive late for your scheduled session, the missed time will be deducted from the total session duration. Additionally, while we appreciate your enthusiasm, please avoid arriving excessively early. Our studio operates on a carefully planned schedule, and early arrivals may disrupt the workflow of the day.

 

Maternity Photoshoots and Wardrobe:

If you're planning a maternity photoshoot and wish to utilise our studio wardrobe options, please inform us in advance. This allows us to prepare the appropriate clothing selections tailored to your preferences and vision for the shoot. Failure to communicate your wardrobe preferences may result in the assumption that you'll be bringing your own attire for the session.

Editing and Retouching:
It's important to note that the photographer does not take responsibility for issues such as  wrinkled clothing, dirty shoes, poorly applied makeup or self-tanning products and similar. It's the client's responsibility to ensure these are addressed before the session. The photographer will not retouch these elements.

Additionally, if the session takes place outside the studio (on location or client's home), the photographer will not alter or "clean" the surroundings. Therefore, it's essential to choose a suitable location for the shoot. If the photoshoot is held at the client's home - it is the client's responsibility to make sure the room the shoot is being held at is properly prepared before the photographer arrives. The photographer can offer advice on suitable locations if needed and if it in photographer's knowledge of the location. 

Editing Requests:

We understand that each client may have specific preferences regarding their final photographs. Any additional editing requests must be communicated to us within one week of receiving your photo gallery. After this timeframe, if you require further retouching services, an additional charge will be applied. This ensures that we can address any post-processing requests promptly and deliver the final images that meet your expectations.

Screenshotting Images from the Online Gallery:

Every photography package includes a specific number of retouched high-resolution images. However, any additional images, including raw and unretouched ones, are not included. We kindly ask that you would not screenshot, save, or share these images, as it constitutes a breach of copyright. 

Please understand that this is similar to visiting a make-up artist for a makeover. The products used by the make-up artist are not included in the service fee. Likewise, unretouched or raw images are not included in the photography package. Just as taking the make-up products without permission would be considered stealing, saving or sharing unretouched images without permission is also not permitted and is considered stealing. 
This is the same business as any other and we are simply asking for the same respect and treatment. 

Gift Vouchers:

If you've purchased our photography services as a gift for someone special, please note that the gift vouchers have an expiration period of three months from the date of purchase. These vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash or other services. We recommend scheduling the session within this timeframe to ensure the recipient can fully enjoy the experience.
 

Choosing Final Photos for Retouching:

You have the option to select the final images for retouching yourself. Following your photography session, you'll receive an online gallery containing the best 50+ unretouched images within two weeks. You'll have two weeks from the date of receiving the gallery to make your selections. If you require more time, please inform the photographer in advance so that the deadline can be extended if necessary. Failure to do so will result in the deactivation of the gallery link, with the gallery being archived to maintain our workflow. There's a £25 charge if you request the images to be uploaded again. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we kindly ask for mutual respect for each other's time.

Receiving the Final Photo Gallery:

Upon receiving the final photo gallery, the online link will remain active for two weeks for regular photoshoots and four weeks for wedding photography. After this period, the link will expire, and the gallery will be archived. It's your responsibility to download, save, and securely store the images. Should you require the photos to be uploaded again after this timeframe, a service fee of £50 will apply to cover the photographer's time in re-uploading and preparing the online gallery.
